In the article The next 25 years?: future scenarios and future directions for education and technology, Facer & Sandford describe three future worlds. As far as I am concerned, “Trust Yourself” is the one I agree most. In a highly individualized world, people will get used to taking online courses anytime and everywhere. W ith over diverse learning resources, it is necessary for the learners to build a personalized education system and have paid mentors during the lifelong study. "Informed Choice" and "Independent consumer" are the two educational systems under this environment. Nevertheless, "trust yourself" does not mean there is no sharing in the future. This week, I read more journal articles on literature review. To be honest, although I have written some literature reviews as one part of my academic paper in my undergraduate study, I had no idea about how to complete a literature review as a separate assignment. By doing some research, I found it is of much importance to clarify the main questions in mind and learn how to manage the recourses which can lead to the answers of the questions. I downloaded Mendeley to help manage and compile what I am learning from the article recourses and it works well so far.
