This week, I used a piece of silk to make a shiny scarf. I found that the material I chose was suitable for scarves, and I would like to make this item a little bit different from a traditional one  with conductive threads. At the very beginning, I folded the silk and made it to the shape I want. I decided to sew a light up on  the center of the bow tie, which was easy for me to hide the circuit and make this scarf look better. Just like what we practice in class last week, I successfully completed the circuit and lighted the scarf up (as the picture shows above).  Nevertheless, there is a problem with this "shiny scarf" - people cannot wear such scarf with a heavy battery holder. This experimental product is better to be regarded as a decoration :)

My pop-up card is designed with a topic of skull. To celebrate the incoming Halloween, I would like to add some cartoon figures of skulls and ghosts. On the cover of my card, I drew two lovely ghosts and wrote "Happy Halloween". When you open the card, a skull with two orange shiny eyes will pop up. I drew the outline of the skull on one paper, and craved it with a knife. Then I built the electric circuit on the other paper. I put the "skull" above the circuit and marked the location of two eyes. Finally, I connected with the battery and the card gave out the lights.

Using MakeyMakey, I would like to build a toys' band. In my childhood memory, "Dolls and dancing bear" was one of my favorite song that can make me happy. Therefore, I gave every toy one note and let them play this song using piano. The following sample video is a pretty short one as there were  only limited wires to control more tones. Hope that my toys band can play more complicated songs in the future.

For Project one – responsive resume, what in my mind was to create a website page of my own style. The design purpose of this responsive resume is to show some of my personal information in a creative website form, yet it is not a completed resume that I use for seeking for jobs. The intended audience are my peers and people who are interested in web design. For the design inspiration, I just learned it from in-class lab. At first, I did not have any idea of what a web resume should like as I only used traditional resume for job application before. I made some changes of the design and decoration based on the in-class html and CSS code, and added several elements of my own style.  After the first class, I have built a basic website with html (as version 1 shows). I found that it is important to use html to build a framework at first, and then consider the layout and decoration. Using html and CSS, I wo
