Digital Foundation_Assignment 5



My pop-up card is designed with a topic of skull. To celebrate the incoming Halloween, I would like to add some cartoon figures of skulls and ghosts. On the cover of my card, I drew two lovely ghosts and wrote "Happy Halloween".




When you open the card, a skull with two orange shiny eyes will pop up. I drew the outline of the skull on one paper, and craved it with a knife. Then I built the electric circuit on the other paper. I put the "skull" above the circuit and marked the location of two eyes. Finally, I connected with the battery and the card gave out the lights.

Digital Foundations_Assignment 3

After reading Gears of my Childhood , I started to realize the importance of "laws of learning" that we may form from a very young age. I created a mini game named "Butterfly Catcher" in Scratch. This game evokes my childhood memory of catching butterflies. This was an important outdoor activity when I was a child - my friends and I always enjoyed staying in nature and caught the beautiful butterflies. We observed this amazing insect and then set them free. I believe that our first biology class was from the nature. Moreover, "Butterfly fly away" is one of my favorite song in Hannah Montana,   which is the first US TV series I have ever watched.
